George (GEM) Miller is a High caliber executive and avid golfer, with over 30 years of progressive management and leadership experience. As a retired Special Forces officer with extensive experience in Planning, Programming, and Budgeting. George’s military career provided him the opportunity to develop relationships in such countries as Thailand, Scotland, Singapore, Australia, United Kingdom, Hawaii, and the Philippines. As a professional Contracting officer has negotiated contracts in more than 12 foreign countries. His proven ability to develop and execute concept plans has developed him into an extremely effective proficient golf travel planner. George is dedicated to providing flexible professional service utilizing his expertise and an “I care” attitude to ensure the numerous details, large and small, are attended to meticulously. We plan these trips because they are our own. Robert (Bob) W. Johns has a military background and is currently an independent business consultant, avid golfer, and world traveler. Bob decided it was time to combine is talents with his passion for golf, travel, good friends and friendly people. With his good friend and golfing partner George Miller the idea of Carolina Custom World Golf Tours became a reality. Bob’s travels allowed him to enjoy golf in Asia, Hawaii, throughout the United States, Scotland, and Europe. While on active duty one of Bob’s assignments was an administrator of the Rest and Recuperation Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia overseeing lodging, transportation, and social events for soldiers. Bob’s passion for the game drove him to qualify for PGA membership by passing the PGA’s Players Ability Test and a year stint as an assistant manager and instructor of a golf course. His educational background in business, coupled with managerial skills in accounting, logistics, and personnel management are a natural fit for the operational requirements of Carolina Custom World Golf Tours. His aspiration to start the business was from frustration of not receiving the service he desired on golf tours. Bob is dedicated to providing flexible professional service utilizing his expertise and an “I care” attitude to ensure the numerous details, large and small, are attended to meticulously.
